Robison of Brockton, December 1, 2006, Deacon Thomas W. Robison, 63 years. Husband of Patty (Walden) Robison. Father of William T Robison and his wife Doreen of E. Bridgewater and Heather Sutherland and her husband Thomas of Raynham. Grandfather of Benjamin Sutherland and Idonia Robison. Brother of LaWanda Karnes of Roanoke, VA and Carole Edens of Bartlett, TN.

Visiting hours will be held in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St. Brockton Monday 4-8 pm with opening prayer service at 3:30. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church Tuesday at 10 am. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery, E. Bridgewater. Please omit flowers, Tom’s family would ask that donations in his name be made to Pediatric Oncology Children’s Hospital Medical Center, 300 Longwood Ave. Boston, MA 02115.

Obituary

Deacon Thomas W. Robison, 63 years died at home on Friday after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Patty (Walden) Robison. He was born in Roanoke, Virginia, the son of the late Otho and Idonia (Sutton) Robison. Mr. Robison was a 1962 graduate of William Fleming High School in Roanoke, Virginia. He served in US Air Force from 1962 to 1969 and was discharged with the rank of Sergeant. He had worked at Draper Laboratory in Cambridge from 1969 to 2005 and retired as technical staff member. On September 18, 2004 Mr. Robison was ordained as a permanent deacon by Cardinal Sean O’Malley. Until his death he had served as Deacon of Our Lady of Lourdes Church where he had been a longtime communicant. As a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church he had served on many different committees and was a Scout leader for Cub Scout Pack 11 and Boy Scout Troop 11. Mr. Robison was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Seville Council Brockton and was past Grand Knight 1997 to 1999.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son and daughter William T Robison and his wife Doreen of E. Bridgewater and Heather Sutherland and her husband Thomas of Raynham. He leaves two grandchildren Benjamin Sutherland and Idonia Robison. He was the brother of LaWanda Karnes of Roanoke, VA and Carole Edens of Bartlett, TN.
He also leaves eight nieces and nephews
