Margaret M. (Donovan) Jorge, 87 of Mattapoisett died September 4, 2009 unexpectedly at home.
She was the wife of the late Manuel Jorge.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Helen F. (Regan) Donovan, she lived in Mattapoisett for the last 30 years.
Mrs. Jorge was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church.
She was formerly employed by Mass Shirt for several years until her retirement.
Survivors include 3 sisters, Josephine Wojtkonski of Fairhaven, Theresa Clarkin and her husband John of Falmouth and Patricia Clarkin and her husband Phillip of Guilford, CT; 2 sisters-in-law, Madalyne Donovan of Florida and Cecelia Donovan of Quincy; many loving nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Thomas Donovan, Jr., Andrew Donovan and Eileen Provost.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett Wednesday, September 9th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
