In New Bedford, Donna Marie Dutra, age 64, passed away in St. Luke’s Hospital following a lengthy illness while surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born in Attleboro to the late Francis & Marjorie C. (Seekell) Dutra Sr. She was educated in Taunton schools and resided there all her life. Donna worked with the mentally disabled until her health declined. She had a strong faith, loved being outdoors, enjoyed traveling and above all cherished her family. Donna leaves her loving sons Joshua Paul. Dutra and his wife Nicole of Taunton and Travis Dutra Sr. and his wife Kristen of New Bedford. She also leaves her grandchildren Travis Dutra Jr., Joshua Dutra Jr. both of Taunton and Tae-Lynn, Brooklynn and Mia Dutra all of New Bedford and Cailyn Neto. Donna is survived by her siblings Mary L. Grady of East Taunton, Ann St. Germain of Berkley, Margaret “Peggy” Sproul of East Taunton, Francis E. Dutra Jr. of Taunton and Steven M. Dutra of East Taunton. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Wednesday, July 20th at 8:45 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Church in East Taunton at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday from 5-7 pm. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
