In North Dighton, July 7, 2016 Alice G. (Young) Mendoza loving wife of George Mendoza died in her home peacefully at the age of 87. Alice was born in Berkley and was the daughter of the late Hiram and Maude (Harrison) Young. Alice was a graduate of Dighton High School. She was a retired Aid for Corporative Productions in Raynham. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and traveling all over the United States with her husband and her family. Alice was the mother of Sharon Baptista and her husband Robert of Taunton. Grandmother of Steve Baptista and his wife Chris of Norton and David Baptista and his wife Cassidy of Taunton. Great grandmother of five great grandchildren. Sister of Hiram Young Jr. of Taunton, Shirley Enos of Taunton and the late William Young, Doris Amaral, Patricia Jones, Anitia Craven and Adelbert Young. A service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton Tuesday, July 12th at 11 AM. Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment St Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
