In Taunton, July 6, 2016 Louise M. (Reed) Murby wife of the late William A. “Bill” Murby of fifty nine years died at her home peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 87. Born in Taunton, Louise was the daughter of the late Charles and Vera (Smith) Reed. She was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1947 and was a member of the Point Independence Yacht Club in Onset. With her husband Bill they ran the former Par 3 Golf Course & Buccaneer Lounge and also The Toy Store in Raynham. Louise loved golfing with five holes in one in her lifetime, she also enjoyed boating, having company and going out to eat. She was the mother of William Murby Jr. and his wife Sharon of Lancaster, NY and Debra Correia of North Dighton. Grandmother of Melissa Peltier and her husband Michael of Wareham, William Murby III of New Bedford, Peter Cardin of No Dighton, Megan and Patrick Murby both of Lancaster, NY. Great Grandmother of Cameron Murby, Haley Peltier, Tyler and Tianna Murby. Sister of Charles Reed and his wife Elizabeth of Attleboro, Loretta Hughes of Attleboro, Albert Reed of East Taunton, John Reed of Taunton and Marilyn Oliver and her husband Lewis of Raynham. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton Monday, July 11th at 9 AM. A Mass will be held at St Ann’s Church in Raynham at 10 AM. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2-5 PM. Interment Pleasant Street Cemetery in Raynham.
