Russell, Helen, J. (Walsh), of Millis, formerly of West Roxbury and Charlestown, June 27, 2016, age 92. Beloved wife of the late Robert R. Russell. Loving mother of Carolyn Russell, Suzanne Lortie and her husband, Gary, and grandmother of Brendan and Shannon Lortie, all of Millis. Beloved daughter of the late Bartholomew and Mary (Coyne) Walsh. Dear sister of Alice Hiatt of Tiverton, RI, and predeceased by her sisters Mary Abbott, Margaret Hannaford and Catherine Ebrecht and brothers John, Patrick, Phillip, Edward and Thomas Walsh,. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews, especially Christine Hiatt and Nancy Chace. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre Street WEST ROXBURY, Saturday July 9, at 9 a.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Friday 4-8. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend.
Helen was an operator for the New England Telephone Company until her retirement.
