James Arthur Holland, age 58, died June 28, 2016 in Melbourne, AR. He was born in Webb, MS to Daisy Hendrix Goad and the late Jenior Leroy Holland. James worked for many years as a Machine Operator and belonged to Dream Riders Biking for Children-Chapter E. He was a devoted husband, father and friend who enjoyed hunting, fishing and helping kids.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 1, 2016 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 11:00 am in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks. Burial will be in the Friendship Church of God Cemetery in Charleston, MS with the members of Dream Riders serving as pallbearers. James is survived by his wife, Carolyn Marie Holland of Melbourne, AR; his mother, Daisy Goad of Melbourne, AR; his daughter, Tiffany Lee of TX; his son, Christopher Holland of Elliot, MS; his sister, Patsey (Joe) Stevenson of Grenada, MS; and his brothers, Sylvester Holland of Grenada, MS, Jimmy (Bonnie) Holland of Melbourne, AR, Edgar (Christina) Holland of Greenville, MS, and Travis (Kathy) Goad of Water Valley, MS. James was preceded in death by his father, Junior Holland. | ||||
