MOLLOY, Richard F. of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Boston and Quincy, passed away on June 2, 2016. Loving husband of 55 years of Esther Molloy. Beloved father of the late Susan Molloy. Son of the late John and Theresa (Coakley) Molloy. Brother of the late John, Robert, Theresa and Geraldine. Survived by his sisters-in-law, Anne Graham and her husband Robert, and Kathleen Hein-Hansen. Uncle of James Graham and his wife Mary Beth, Mark Graham, Christopher Davis and his wife Jill. Richard attended the University of Massachusetts majoring in Industrial Arts. He taught for over 30 years in the Boston School System. Richard had many hobbies. He was an avid reader, a crossword puzzle enthusiast and he loved to work with wood. He took up wood carving late in life and carved some interesting and endearing figurines. The biggest project he undertook was building a Dory in his cellar on Cape Cod. He christened it The Sues, after his daughter and wife. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Tuesday, June 28th at 9am. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Chapel at 10 o’clock. Visitation at the Funeral Home prior to Mass. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials be made to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
