Mahoney, Marguerite M. “Maggie” of Dorchester, May 26, 2016. Loving sister of Maureen Devine and her late husband Joe of Roslindale. Devoted aunt of Mary Devine and John Devine and his wife Katie all of Roslindale. Great aunt of Jack Devine. Maggie graduated from Girls’ High School in 1951. She worked at Boston City Hospital for 40 years prior to her retirement. She was an avid reader, traveller, and loved walking at Castle Island in South Boston. She resided at the Rogerson House in Jamaica Plain for the past 3 years prior to her passing. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Thursday, June 2nd at 8:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart (Lower) Church, 169 Cummins Hwy, Roslindale at 10 o’clock. Visiting hour prior to Mass at Gormley Funeral Home from 8:30 to 9:30am. Relatives and friends invited. Interment New Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Maggie’s memory to Alzheimer’s Assoc. at alz.org
