WORCESTER-Cynthia Petry, 56, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at UMASS Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Stephen B. Petry; three children, Natalie Marotta of Dudley, Edgardo "Eddie" Rodriguez, Jr. of Worcester and Jose A. Rodriguez of Worcester; thirteen grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Cynthia also leaves her father, Gregorio Ortiz of Worcester; three siblings, Amelia "Molly" Dansky of FL, Felicita Ortiz Holley and Juan Felix Ortiz, both of KY; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her mother Nereida Rolon and brother, Gegory Ortiz, Jr.
Cynthia was born in Bronx, NY. She was a personal banker at the Main Street-Webster Square branch of TD Bank. She truly loved working with her banking customers and was involved in the community. Her outgoing, fun loving and caring personality will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held at CALLAHAN~FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street on Saturday, January 24 from 6:30-8pm immediately followed by a funeral service at 8pm.
