AUBURN/WORCESTER- Nancy B. (Brennan) Donnellan, 79, of Auburn, died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Life Care Center of Auburn. Her husband of 37 years, Edward J. Donnellan predeceased her in 1998.
She is survived by five children, Edward J. Donnellan, Jr. of Auburn, Steven M. Donnellan of Grafton, Brian W. Donnellan, William A. Donnellan, both of Worcester, and Karen A. Creelman and her husband Joel of Auburn; and two grandchildren, Matthew Carville and Alysha Creelman. Nancy also leaves a brother, Richard P. Brennan of Worcester, a sister Ruth E. Delaney of Long Island, NY, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Walter and William Brennan and a sister, Margaret Connelly.
Nancy was born in Worcester daughter of Irish immigrants, William E. and Margaret M. (McShera) Brennan. She graduated from St. Peter’s High School and was a longtime member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. Nancy once worked for New England Telephone as an operator and later at CVS, retiring after 25 years.
A funeral will be held on Friday, January 16 from CALLAHAN~FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester with a Mass at 11:30 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday, January 15 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
