Bud Elwood Croy Obituary - Water Valley MS

Bud Elwood Croy, age 56, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. He was born November 18, 1958 in Missouri, to the late Ralph and Sarah Tidwell Croy. Bud worked many years as a contractor in the construction industry and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Water Valley, MS. Bud was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding 4-wheelers. A devoted family man, he treasured time spent with his children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. A graveside service will follow at 2 pm on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Wyatt Chapel Cemetery in Yalobusha County, MS with Bro. David Floyd officiating.

Bud is survived by his wife, Wanda Brandstatt Croy of Water Valley, MS; five daughters, Angela Croy of Poplar Bluff, MO, Linda Thomas of New Hampshire, Lee Ann Corey of Water Valley, MS, Vanessa (Brad) Corey of Oxford, MS and Carlee (Matt) Cobb of El Paso, TX; four sons, Buddy (Tonya) Croy of Batesville, MS, Brad Croy of Poplar Bluff, MO, Gary Reed of Conway, MO and Derek (Sadie) Croy of Colorado; his sister, Zelma Deffendall of Steele, MO; three brothers, Mike (Gloria) Croy of Stringtown, MO, Alvie Croy of Oxley, MO and Fred Croy of Coffeeville, MS; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
