Charles Michael Bryant was welcomed into Heaven with a great family reunion on December 31, 2014. He was born September 4, 1964 in Calhoun City, MS to Joyce Arbuckle Bryant and the late Charles Russell Bryant and was a graduate of Bruce High School. Michael had been a volunteer fireman with Lafayette County Fire Department - Company 3, for 31 years, serving as Captain for over 20 of those years. Helping people was very important to Michael. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, grilling, and spending time with his family and friends. Michael was Vice President of K&D Cultured Marble, Inc. and a member of O' Tuckolofa Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 5, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Pine Flat Cemetery in Lafayette County, MS with Bro. Dan Dickerson officiating. (A procession to Pine Flat Cemetery will leave Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 1:30 pm) Tony Arbuckle, Dwight Arbuckle, Kenny Tidwell, Jerry Johnson, Bobby McCain, Kim Hollowell, Hal Anderson and Otis Anderson will serve as pallbearers. Billy Melton, Horace Hardy, Billy Stark and Charles Heath will serve as honorary pallbearers. Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 24 years, Lisa Kay Ashmore Bryant of Banner, MS; his daughter, who adores her Daddy, Lisa Cheyenne Bryant of Banner, MS; his mother, Joyce Arbuckle Bryant of Water Valley, MS; his sister, Jeanine (Kenny) Tallent of Vardaman, MS; his nephews, Adam (Rachel) Spradling, Blake Tallent, and Austin Tallent; his mother-in-law, Patsy Boxx Miller; and dear friends, Billy and Kathy Melton and Kim Hollowell. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Russell Bryant. | ||||
