McDONALD, John J. (Jack), of Readville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 13, 2014. Jack was the devoted husband to the late Barbara (Joyce) McDonald, a loving father to John and his wife Christine McDonald of Braintree, Ellen and her husband Bob Evangelista of Stoughton, Marybeth McDonald, of Canton, Tricia and her husband John McLaughlin of Canton, Barbara and her husband David Isberg of West Roxbury, a cherished “Papa” to Sean and Matthew McDonald, Kerri Gramazio, Dominic and Jaclyn Evangelista, Elizabeth Murphy, Julia, Matthew, Katie and Peter McLaughlin, Patrick, Grace, Drew Isberg, great-grandfather to Matthew, Dean and Nate Gramazio. Dear son of the late John and Elizabeth (Gifford) McDonald, brother of Bob McDonald of Norwood and Carol Romiza of Falmouth. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Monday, December 22nd at 9am. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Pius X Church at 11:30am. Visiting hours at the Gormley Funeral Home prior to Mass from 9-11am. Relatives and friends invited. Jack was a proud Veteran of the USMC, he volunteered many years for Toys for Tot.
