On November 27th Dorothea E. Mulhern, age 93, passed away peacefully at Epoch Senior Healthcare of Norton. Mrs. Mulhern was the beloved wife of the late R. Paul Mulhern and devoted mother to David Mulhern, mother in law to Ellen Mulhern, and loving grandmother to Kelly and Paige Mulhern of Wrentham. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Dorothy Stanton and sister of the late Msgr. Robert L. Stanton, all natives of Taunton. She is also survived by a number of devoted nieces and nephews. A graduate of Taunton High School and Emmanuel College, Mrs. Mulhern was a lifelong resident of Taunton and was actively involved in many local charities including the American Heart Fund, Queen’s Daughters, and Catholic Charities. She also worked for many years as a special education teacher in the Raynham School System. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Tuesday, December 2nd at 9 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday from 4-7 pm. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
