Ora Bell Miles Dawkins of Coffeeville, MS, age 81, died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley, MS. She was born March 3, 1933 in Pope, MS to the late Lonnie and Allie Sprouse Miles. Bell was employed by Kellwood Company where she retired as Supervisor in Quality Control after 30 years of continuous service. She was an active and faithful member of New Life Fellowship Church in Oakland, MS and enjoyed baking, crafting, sewing, quilting, working in her flowers and yard and helping others. She treasured time spent with her family and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 12:00 pm in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Jerry Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS. Bell is survived by her daughter, Linda Myers of Coffeeville, MS; her sister, Ruby Kehoe (Earl) of Water Valley, MS; her brother, Charlie “Richard” Miles (Carolyn) of Water Valley, MS; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Edward Tidwell. | ||||
