WORCESTER: Eileen M. (Foster) Korpinen Desroches, 93, formerly of Wayside Road, died peacefully on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Life Care Center of Auburn. Her husband of 33 years, Ernest A. Desroches, died December 21, 2012.
She leaves her children, Katherine A. Ernst and her husband William, Paul N. Korpinen and his wife Marjorie, all of Worcester; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, John D. Foster of New York and William F. Foster, Jr. of Worcester, both predeceased her. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late William F. and Catherine A. (Daly) Foster, and graduated from Commerce High School.
Eileen worked as a clerk at Norton Company for almost 10 years before she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
A CALLING HOUR will be held from 9:15 to 10:15 A.M. on FRIDAY, NOV. 7 at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St., immediately followed by a FUNERAL MASS at 11 A.M. at ST. JOHN’S CHURCH, 40 Temple St. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
