Lafortune 'Lavaud' Victor (“Mr. Victor”) died peacefully on October 23, 2014 at the age of 84 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. Mr. Victor was the loving husband of Marie Lourdes Victor, whom he loved unconditionally until his very last breath. He was also the devoted father to 17 children and 39 grandchildren. Mr. Victor was born in Haiti where he had the opportunity to work in politics as a tribunal judge and a Mayor of his commune. He worked tirelessly to make sure that those in his commune received fair treatment, and resources were plentiful. He moved to Boston, MA in 1980, where he lived until his final days. Mr. Victor’s Celebration of Life service will be held on November 1, 2014, at Tabernacle Baptist Church ("TBC") in Roslindale, MA (575 American Legion Highway Roslindale, MA 02131). The viewing will be at 8AM held at TBC, followed by a service at 9AM at TBC, and concluding with an internment service at Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston, MA.
