Flora McCullar Obituary - Water Valley MS

Flora Allen McCullar, age 92, died Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Yalobusha General Nursing Home in Water Valley, MS. She was born June 19, 1922 in Water Valley, MS to the late Lee and Sallie Narran Allen. Flora was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and until her health failed, enjoyed needlework, crocheting, quilting, cooking, taking care of her home and yard. Flora loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS with Bro. David Freeman officiating. Family members will serve as pallbearers.

Flora is survived by her brother Earl (Sharon) Allen of Water Valley, MS; two sisters, Shirley Allen and Geneva Campbell both of Water Valley, MS; three nephews, David Allen of Water Valley, MS, Nathan (Stephanie) Allen of Water Valley, MS and Kerry (Heather) Morris of Columbia, AL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl McCullar.
