WORCESTER: Roger L. Ramsey, 74, a former resident of East Brookfield, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Odd Fellows Home in Worcester, after a long illness.
He leaves two daughters, Katherine LePaine and Patricia Walton, both of Holden; a sister, Linda J. Brosnan of Worcester; his foster sister, Lisa Leard-Bigwood of Columbia, TN; 4 grandchildren, Ethan, Noah, Matthew and Caleb; and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Harry E. Ramsey, Jr. and John W. Ramsey and two sisters, Judith M. Hunt and Catherine S. Ramsey, all predeceased him. He was born in Worcester son of the late Harry E. Ramsey, Sr. and Verna M. (Mailman) Ramsey and lived most of his life in East Brookfield.
Roger worked at the L. Farber Co. in Worcester for many years. He will be remembered as a very caring and gentle person who loved animals. He enjoyed spending time fishing and working in his garden at home.
