William Alan Pilcher, age 44, died Monday, September 15, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. He was born February 12, 1970 in Panola County, MS to Billy Dwight and Margie Ramsey Pilcher. William was an automotive technician for Heafner Motors and a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church of Water Valley. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR, was devoted to his family and dearly loved his wife, children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 18, 2014 at11:00 am in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Rev. Lynn Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Camp Ground Cemetery in Water Valley, MS with Jeff Hodge, Caleb Beard, Rodney Eubanks, Jimmy Roberson, Chad Newman and Larry Martin serving as pallbearers. The Perry Creek Deer Club and the Fly and Cox Hunting Club will serve as honorary pallbearers. William is survived by his wife, Angela Schmitz Pilcher of Water Valley, MS; two daughters, Kayla Pilcher of Batesville, MS and Whitney Massey (B.J.) of Pontotoc, MS; his son, William Alan Pilcher, Jr. of Water Valley; his parents, Billy and Margie Pilcher of Water Valley, MS; his sister, Robin Bowen of Gresham, OR; three grandchildren, Kallie Grace Stevens, Ryder Layne Stevens and Brianna Jo Massey. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Jaudon, Jr. | ||||
