In New Bedford, of Taunton September 12, 2014 Devon Carissa Marie Prado daughter of David and Maria (Gallego) Prado of Taunton and her mother Leigh-Ann Botelho of Tennessee. Step daughter of Allen Botelho of Kentucky. Devon was a graduate of Taunton high School class of 2004 and she was a free spirit who loved her family. Devon loved animals and was most at peace when she was horseback riding. Devon was a talented artist and loved to crochet to keep her hands busy. Devon was the mother of her daughter Kinley Prado. She was the granddaughter of her “Mem” Rita Gallego of Taunton and the late James Gallego and Emily (Oliver) Green. Sister of Michael Prado of Taunton, Robert Bates of Cape Cod and Meaghan Botelho of Kentucky. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, niece and nephews. A Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church in Taunton Thursday, September 18th at 10 AM. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will be private.
