In Taunton, September 13, 2014 Virginia E. (Harrigan) Paquette wife of the late Roland Paquette died at her home with her family by her side at the age of 90. Born in Taunton, Virginia was the daughter of the late John and Yvonne (Bilodeau) Harrigan. Virginia was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School class of 1942, she was also a Eucharist Minister, a volunteer at the former Morton Hospital for over fifteen years and was the coordinator for religious education at the former St Paul’s Church for over twenty years. Virginia was the mother of Stephen M. Paquette and his wife Suzanne of Cumberland, RI, Virginia M. Taylor and her husband David of California, Paul H. Paquette and his wife Lynda of Alaska, Jeanne L. Gardner of Danbury, NH, Marie A. Jacinto and her husband Douglas of West Wareham, Louise Y. Nunley and her husband Jim of Taunton and Peter J. Paquette and his wife Erika of Fredericksburg, VA. Grandmother of twenty three grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. Sister of the late Brother Aubert Harrigan of the Holy Cross Brothers and Rita Sheehy. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Wednesday, September 17th at 9 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton at 10 AM. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Interment St Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
