Devoted father of Daniel S. and his wife Laura of Walnut Creek, CA, Theresa Drossel and her husband Roger of Franklin, NJ, Nancy Holmes and her husband Billy of Sandwich, Michael and his wife Sherri of Sudbury. Grandfather of Derrick Drossel, Kelly Drossel, Shannon McCarrick and her husband Jeff, Meaghan Harden, Sean Harden, Cassidy Holmes, Stephen Holmes, Courtney and Ryan Kelleher, Michael, Brendan, Maeve and Lilly Kelleher. Great grandfather of Declan "Butch" McCarrick. Brother of Ann and Phil Doherty. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Monday, September 8th at 9am. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 10 o'clock. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Late member of Boston Firefighters Local 718. U.S. Air Force Veteran Korean War.
