In Taunton, August 22, 2014 Walter E. Legrow, Age 81 passed away in Morton Hospital following a brief illness. Walter was the husband of the late Pauline (Foley) Legrow. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Isaac & Marian (Pittsley) Legrow. Walter was educated in Taunton schools and served his country in the Army National Guard. He was employed at Texas Instruments in Attleboro until his retirement and later worked for Trucchi’s Supermarket and the Auto Auction. Walter enjoyed fishing, camping and his time with family. Walter was preceded in death by his children Russell and Walter Jr. and Theresa Legrow. He also leaves his grandson Jason Legrow, his sister Doris Costa of Taunton and the late Frances Legrow and Edna Bellanger. Walter also leaves several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton on Friday, August 29th at 11:30 am. Arrangements are under the direction of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
