Pauline C. (Santos) Carvalho, 87, of New Bedford died August 25, 2014.
She was the wife Arthur P. Carvalho.
Born in Lakeville, the daughter of the late Antone P. and Mary (Rogers) Santos, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
Mrs. Carvalho was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church and was an active choir member. She was a recipient of the Marian Medal from the Diocese of Fall River.
She enjoyed baking cookies.
Survivors include her husband; 3 sons, David Carvalho of Miami Lakes, FL, Steven Carvalho and his wife Rita of Gloucester and Michael Carvalho and his wife Karen Reece of Brighton; a daughter, Debra Gauvin and her husband Paul of Wareham; 5 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Edward Santos, David Santos, Tony Santos, Herbert Santos, Hilda Pamplona and Ruth Santos.
Funeral from he Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford Thursday, August 28th at 7:30 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 8:30 AM. Burial will follow the Massachusetts National Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday, August 27th from 4-7 PM.
