In Boston, August 12, 2014 George Alan Rose Sr. husband of Elizabeth (Westgate) Rose for over 42 years died after a brief illness at Brigham and Woman’s Hospital at the age of 60. Born in Taunton, George was the son of George F. Rose Jr and the late Mae (Jones) Rose. George was a truck driver and loved to fish, motorcycle racing, listening to oldies music and being with his family. He was the father of George A. Rose and his wife Jennifer of East Taunton, James Rose and his wife Nicole of Shirley, Barbara St Rock and her husband Daniel of Assonet and Denise Rose and her fiancée Darren of Cape Cod. Grandfather of Zoey, George, Julia, Cody, Jesse, Michael, Tabitha, Brandon and Jordon. Brother of Edward Rose, Carol Rousseau, Stephen Rose and the late Linda Rose. A fellowship of Celebration and the memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10 AM at the Lakeville Church of the Nazarene, 180 Main Street, Lakeville, MA.
