In Taunton, August 11, 2014 Ann E. (McMullen) Gregg wife of the late George Gregg died at Morton Hospital at the age of 93. Born in Taunton Ann was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Orphen) McMullen. Ann was a lifelong resident of Taunton and was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1938. She was a former member and past president of Immaculate Church woman’s guild and was a member of the St Jude the Apostle church women’s guild, Gallic Society, Red Hats and the Queens Daughters. Ann was the mother of Thomas Gregg and his wife Jacquelyn of Indiana, James Gregg of Lowell, George Gregg and his wife Mitzi of Brunswick, Georgia, Mark Gregg of Boston, William Gregg and his wife Jean of Fall River and Constance Mowry and her husband Alan of Berkley. Grandmother of seven grandchildren. Sister of Margaret Bettencourt of Battle Creek, Michigan. Aunt of several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Friday, August 15th at 10 AM. A prayer service will be held at St Jude the Apostle Church in Taunton at 11 AM. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
