Barbara Stribling Parker, formerly of Water Valley, died Saturday, August 9, 2014 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was born May 13, 1940 to the late Flavis Joe and Lovie Greer Stribling of Water Valley, MS. Barbara was a homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Sylva Rena Cemetery with Bro. Keith Burney officiating. Barbara is survived by two daughters, Sandra Wagner (Michael) and Anita Parker both of Florence, MS; her son Joseph Parker of Florence, MS; two brothers, Bobby (Kathy) Stribling of Water Valley, MS and Billy (Diane) Stribling of Southaven, MS; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Parker and her son, Robert Paul Parker. | ||||
