Obituary

Lillian L. (Jacintho) Perron, 88, of New Bedford died July 20, 2014 at Southeastern Mass. Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Antonio D. and Maryann (Luiz) Jacintho, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church, where she had been a CCD teacher. She was a recipient of the Marian Medal from the Diocese of Fall River.
Mrs. Perron was formerly employed as payroll manager for Eastern Sportswear. She later volunteered at the Dartmouth Council on Aging.
She enjoyed word-search and crossword puzzles, and making jigsaw puzzles.
Survivors include two stepsons, Ronald Perron and Richard Perron; a sister, Helen D. Amaral of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Antonio, Abel, Walter and Albert Jacintho and Mildred Arruda.

Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Julie Billiart Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
