In Taunton, July 9, 2014 Mary Eloise (McClellan) McGann wife of the late James J. McGann died at her daughters home with her family by her side at the age of 93. Born in Taunton, Mary was the daughter of the late William J. and Katherine (Driscoll) McClellan. Mary was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1939 and was a manager for the former Tom Thumb Card Shop in Taunton. Mary enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles, painting and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She was the mother of James McGann and his wife Gretchen of East Taunton, Judith Cooperstein and her husband Dr. Menahen of Taunton and Patricia Murray and her husband Robert of No Dighton. Grandmother of Kelly Shumway and her husband Tab of Lakeville, James McGann and his wife Lizzie of Colorado, Jennifer Redding and her husband Timothy of Raynham, Megan Fitzsimons and her husband Christopher of Easton, Sarah Medeiros of Taunton, Robert Murray and his wife Gloria of No Dighton, Matthew Murray and his fiancée Michele of No Dighton, Christopher Murray and his wife Wendi of Bismarck, No Dakota and Adam Murray and his wife Jessica of Burlington, Vermont. Great Grandmother of seventeen great grandchildren. A Mass will be held at St Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton on Saturday, July 12th at 11 AM. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Friday from 4-7 PM. Interment St Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
