Carol Jaudon Cotten Obituary - Water Valley MS

Carol Jaudon Cotten, 63, of Tate County, formerly of Water Valley, died Monday, June 23, 2014 at North Oak Regional Medical Center in Senatobia, MS. She was born March 1, 1951 in Charleston, MS to the late Clarence and Eva Arleene Houston Raney. Carol graduated from Charleston High School in 1969 and worked for many years as a machine operator for Borg-Warner in Water Valley, MS. She was a member of Bett Baptist Church in Coldwater, MS, enjoyed cooking, shopping, riding horses, gardening, decorating her home for holidays, entertaining family and friends. Carol was full of life and had a great sense of humor.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 27, 2014 in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Alvin Whitehead and Bro. David Freeman officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Crest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Yalobusha County, MS with Joseph Cotten, Jr., Fred Cotten, Billy O’Halloran, Billy Melton, Ronnie Mathis, Dennis Hood and Ronnie Melton serving as pallbearers.

Carol is survived by her husband, Joseph Rommie Cotten of Coldwater, MS; her son, Danny Joe Jaudon of Water Valley, MS; one step-daughter, Sue Ohalloran (Billy) of Como, MS; two step-sons, Joseph Rommie Cotten, Jr. (Joy) of Brandon, MS and Fred Benny Cotten (Angie) of Gulfport, MS; four grandchildren, Jacob Jaudon, Joshua Jaudon, Bayleigh Jaudon and Ava Jaudon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Danny Morris Jaudon.
