Andrea "Collie" Holloway Dykes Obituary - Water Valley MS

Andrea Collier Holloway Dykes, age 44, died at her home in Millington, TN on June 15, 2014. She was born in Oxford, MS on February 14, 1970 to the late John W., Jr. and Jerry Berry Holloway. Collie grew up in Water Valley, MS and graduated from Mississippi State University . She worked many years as a radiology test scheduler at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, TN and later worked for Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis as a home medical supply clerk. Collie enjoyed going to the beach, buying and selling antiques, and she loved labrador retrievers. She was a huge Tim McGraw fan and enjoyed listening to country music and spending time with family and friends. Collie was a member of First Baptist Church in Water Valley, MS.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 30, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 2:00 pm in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Alan Berry officiating.

Collie is survived by her brother, John Holloway (Toni) of Oakland, MS; three step-daughters, Felicia Logan, Andrea Brown and Kimberly Jones; one step-son, Logan Dykes; four step-grandchildren; two nieces, Leslie Frances Holloway and Lauren Lee Holloway both of Water Valley, MS; two nephews, Christopher Brent Holloway (Gretchen) of Madison, MS, Aaron Wyatt Holloway of Oakland, MS; two great nieces and one great nephew; and a host of close friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Andrew “Drew” Dykes and her step-grandson, Christopher Dykes.
