David Munafo, 47, of Tiverton, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was the son of Marjorie Jensen Okeefe of Tiverton and Dr. Dominic Munafo and his wife Patricia of Jamestown.
Born in Newport, he had been a lifelong resident of Tiverton. He worked as a carpenter for H. Carr & Sons, Inc. of Providence. Mr. Munafo was an avid sports fan, enjoyed fishing and working on the family farm. His greatest pride was his children and he cherished spending time with them and his extended family.
Along with his parents he leaves behind 3 sons: Lucas, Jacob and Caleb Munafo; his brother: Andrew Munafo; his sister: Julie Munafo; his former wife Frances (Coelho) Munafo of Tiverton; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins all of which he was deeply loved by.
He was the step-son of the late Dennis OKeefe.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the First Baptist Old Stone Church, 7 Old Stone Church Rd., Tiverton, RI 02878 at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be Monday from 5-8 P.M. at the Potter Funeral Home.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
