MADDEN Nancy D. (Kearns) of Westwood formerly of Dedham, age 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 19, 2014, after a valiant fight with cancer. Loving dedicated to her family and friends, Nancy's joy in life was in giving and caring for others. She was the mother of Donna Melendez and her husband Adrian and Stephen Madden and his wife Michelle. Dear grandmother of Rod Jose Jr., Alisha Jose, Evan Iannuzzi and spouse Ilham Elazri, Luke Madden and Logan Madden. Friends wishing to attend may follow Nancy at 10am. as she departs from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Nancy’s wishes were for a simple graveside service at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree, her wish will be honored. She was a graduate of Roslindale High School and worked for 42 years at Tony’s Place in West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105-1905.
