Dear Brother of Frank Hanifin and his wife Sally, Jimmy Hanifin and his wife Katie, and the late John Maloney and his wife Kay, Robert Maloney (BPD) and his late wife Mary, Mary and her husband Bill Kenney (BFD). Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Former retired manager from First National Stores. Past President and current 2nd Vice President of the Irish Social Club of Boston and member of Co. Roscommon Assoc. of Boston. Past Commander of Post 76 American Legion in Jamaica Plain. Lifetime member of the VFW. Served in WWII in the 82nd Airborne. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Tuesday, April 22nd at 10:30am. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 11:30am. Visiting hours Monday 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne at 2:15pm.
