Sharon Virginia Wilson Pipkin, 66, died Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. She was born to William Woodrow and Lucille Byard Henson Wilson in Memphis, TN on January 2, 1948, and worked as a store clerk for many years at John Ford's Grocery in Sylva Rena. She continued to work there when it became Lawler's, and she had many friends in the Sylva Rena area. She enjoyed reading and animals, especially cats. Her family was her dearest treasure.
A graveside service is planned for Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 2 PM at Goshen Cemetery near Coffeeville, MS with Bro. Shane Crawford officiating. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Sharon is survived by one son, Lon Michael Pipkin, of Oakland, MS; and two special almost-sons, David DeHetre, II and David Mooneyham; two sisters, Nancyy Dickey of Germantown, TN and Faye Cooper of Nesbit, MS; and one granddaughter, Haley Pipkin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marcia Henson and Donna Knight. | ||||
