Frances Virginia Wilson Wright Obituary - Water Valley MS

Frances Virginia Wilson Wright, age 75, died Friday, April 4, 2014 at the University of MS Trauma Center in Jackson, MS. She was born March 30, 1939 in Yalobusha County, MS to the late Vester and Cora Rogers Wilson. Frances was an active and faithful member of Elam Baptist Church in Coffeeville, MS. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, knitting, quilting, working in her flower gardens taking care of her yard and keeping in touch with her facebook friends. Frances loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Elam Baptist Church in Coffeeville, MS with Bro. Burnette Fielder officiating. Burial will be in the Elam Cemetery with Eric Summers, Nathan Summers, Ryan Summers, Chris Wilson, Bill Wilson, Allen Wilson, Marvin Frith and Lynn Burns serving as pallbearers. Clay Davis, David Jones, Bobby Jones and Bill Jones will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Robin Wright of Oxford, MS and Heidi Summers (Donny) of Missoula, MT; five grandchildren, Eric Summers (Tracy), Heather Taylor, Nathan Summers, Jamie Taylor and Ryan Summers; one great grandchild, Brady Summers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Wright; three sisters, Ruby Burns, Aline Jones and Jane Carpenter; three brothers, Milford Wilson, William Wilson and Robert E. Wilson.
