Frankie Lynn Ragon, Jr. Obituary - Water Valley MS

Frankie Lynn Ragon, Jr., age 71, died Tuesday, April 2, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. He was born August 25, 1942 in Panola County, MS to the late Frankie Lynn, Sr. and Lula Elizabeth Davis Ragon. Frankie retired after 30 years of service with the MS Highway Department as Superintendent of Maintenance for Yalobusha County. He enjoyed drag racing, collecting and restoring antique cars, and spending time with family and friends. He was a faithful member of Sylva Rena Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 4, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Sylva Rena Baptist Church in Yalobusha County, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Sylva Rena Baptist Church with Bro. David Roberson and Bro. Shane Crawford officiating. Burial will be in the Sylva Rena Church Cemetery.
Seven Oaks Funeral Home of Water Valley, MS is in charge of arrangements.

Frankie is survived by his wife of 51 years, Clemmie “Sue” Kelley Ragon of Water Valley, MS; his sons, Rickey Ragon (Donna) and Terry Keith Cobern (Linda) all of Water Valley, MS; two sisters, Lula Elliott and Peggy Tutor both of the Eureka Community in Pope, MS; five brothers, Darrel Ragon (Ann), Bill Ragon (Karen), Kenny Ragon (Brenda), Mike Ragon (Sherry) and Gene Ragon (Carol) all of the Eureka Community in Pope, MS; four grandchildren, Josh Ragon, Jonathan Ragon, Chris Cobern and MaryLee Simmons; one great grandson, Parker Ragon.
