Judith "Judy" Eileen McCollough Davis Obituary - Water Valley MS

Judith “Judy” Eileen McCollough Davis, age 75, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. She was born July 23, 1938 in Westmoreland County, PA to the late Augustus Henlen and Helena Thompson McCollough. Judy was a Lutheran and served two years in the United States Army. After 27 years of service, she retired from Borg-Warner in Water Valley, MS. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved fishing, sewing, traveling and telling stories about family history.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 12:00 pm in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. David Freeman officiating. Burial will be in the Camp Ground Cemetery in Lafayette County, MS with Matthew Lucas, Billy Ray Bratcher Jr., John Red, Justin Ramsey,
Jimmy Dale Davis and Jason Russell serving as pallbearers.

Judy is survived by her husband, Ernest Davis of Water Valley, MS; three daughters, Margaret (Billy) Bratcher of Batesville, MS, Dale Davis of Water Valley, MS and Deana (Rick) Jenkins of Hernando, MS; three sisters, Kathi (Bill) Miller of Suffolk, VA, Donna (Sidney) Bradley of New Kensington, PA and Trudy (Rob) Raub of Mt. Home, ID; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ernest Davis, Jr.; her sister, Margaret McCollough; three brothers, Richard McCollough, William McCollough and Donald McCollough.
