Loving sister of Rosemary Dowling and her husband John of Savin Hill, Ellen Ryan and her husband Harold of Walpole, and the late Margaret Knox and her husband Edward, Joan Flemming, and John Crowley. Sister-in-law of Bonnie Crowley of MD. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Monday, March 24 at 9 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Frances served her country proudly in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a Code breaker.
