John Ainley (84), died peacefully on February 3rd, 2014 at his home on Cape Cod surrounded by his loving family. John is survived by his wife Ann Ainley, daughter Elizabeth Michels and her husband Allen Michels, son Christopher Ainley and his wife Shelby Marston Ainley, and son David Ainley. Also survived by his 5 grandchildren, Greg Michels, Jonathan Ainley, Nathaniel Ainley, Jessica Ainley and Michael Ainley. John’s final days were spent under the loving care of his immediate family, under the tutelage of the remarkable staff at both Mt Auburn Hospital in Cambridge MA, as well as the local Hope Health Hospice Care on Cape Cod. He was comfortable, and where he wanted to be looking out, fondly admiring the marsh view he loved so much. Funeral Service will be held Saturday February 8th, at 10:30am at Mission Church 1545 Tremont Street Roxbury Crossing, MA 02120.
