PATRICIA J. (TOWLE) ARENA, a Hingham resident for over 40 years, passed away on Friday, Dec. 13th, 2013 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Mrs. Arena was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed reading.
She was the former wife of Charles A. Arena of Hingham and mother of Christopher C. Arena and his wife Annette of Rhode Island, Rosamond M. Arena of Norwood, Philip T. Arena of Hingham, Nancy C. Grant and her husband Mark of No. Reading, Jane C. Gilmartin and her husband Greg of Hingham and Charles A. Arena, Jr. also of Hingham. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Sister of the late Nancy Mahoney.
Funeral Wednesday, Dec. 18th at 9 AM from the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Paul's Church, 147 North St., Hingham Square at 10 AM. Friends may visit at the Downing Chapel on Tuesday from 4:30-7:30 PM. The interment is to be private.
