WILLIS, Dorothy P. of Needham and Dover, Massachusetts. On November 8, 2013 at age 90 in the loving care of the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm.
Graduate of Needham High School Class of 1941. Served in U.S. Quartermaster Procurement Division during WW II and thereafter traveled the U.S. with her husband the late Thomas H. Grasso working with the Algonquin Natural Gas Pipeline. In fact, their only child Linda M. Grasso was born in Omaha, Nebraska as the pipeline traversed north from Texas through the mid-west. Retired medical technician at Framingham Union Hospital.
Survived by her loving daughter attorney Linda M. Grasso of Dover, Massachusetts and Wellington, Florida, and her husband Theodore Tedeschi. Also survived by granddaughters Tonja Morrison and Ashleigh Stewart; and great grandchildren Isobel Morrison, Abigail Morrison, Avery Stewart and Hayden Stewart, all of Dover. Predeceased by siblings Leslie, Mildred, Ernest, Robert and Milton Willis.
Funeral service to be held on Tuesday, November 12 at 11:00 AM at Christ Episcopal Church, 1132 Highland Avenue, Needham. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
