HESENIUS, Jean M. (Callahan) of Needham, October 6, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Hesenius. Loving mother of Ann Hesenius of Wollaston, Barbara Hesenius of Rochester, NY, Eileen Smiglowski of Concord, NH, Janet Condon & her husband Dean of Corning, NY & the late Robert L. Hesenius. Also survived by 12 grandchildren. Jean was an outstanding devoted teacher in the Boston Public Schools for 39 years. She loved being with her family, enjoyed reading, swimming, tennis & was an avid Boston sports fan.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, Thursday, October 10 at 10 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew Church, Needham at 10:30 am. Visitation prior to Mass from 9 am to 10 am in the funeral home. Interment St. Marys Cemetery, Needham.
