Obituary

Muriel (Studley) Erickson, age 83, passed away surrounded by her loving daughters on Friday, September 20, 2013.
Muriel was the devoted wife of the late Lawrence L. Erickson, who was a member of the Pipefitters Local 537 for 45 years. She is survived by four daughters, Kristine Jetter and her husband William of Weymouth, Kirra Jenkins and her husband Thomas of Arlington, VA, Karen Erickson and her husband Francis Gunville of Rockland and Kimberly Johnson and her husband Randy of Somerset. Muriel is predeceased by her parents Ralph and Edna Studley.
Muriel is also survived by three loving grandchildren, Caroline Jetter of Weymouth and Kyle and Lukas Johnson of Somerset.
Muriel was born in Whitman and raised in North Quincy, a graduate of North Quincy High School class of 1947.
Muriel enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren, she will be remembered for her great sense of humor and her selflessness. Muriel was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots. She was a long time legal secretary on the South Shore.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at Old South Union Congregational Church, 25 Columbian Street, S. Weymouth on Saturday, September 28 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Hospice of the South Shore, 30 Reservoir Park Drive, Rockland, MA 02370.
