Belmont----John “Jake” Duggan, 83, of 1001 Laconia Road, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Laconia.
John was born May 27, 1930 in Charlestown, Mass., the son of John W. and Margaret (Hows) Duggan. John was an avid race fan and loved the Boston Red Sox.
Survivors include two sons, John Duggan, Jr. and Richard Duggan and his wife, Patricia; four grandchildren, John Michael Duggan, Amy Lynn Duggan, Peter Joseph Glines and Sarah Elizabeth Glines; two great grandchildren, Lucas Chance and Ryan Alexander Duggan.
According to John’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H. is assisting the family with the arrangements.
