Joanne R. Albano passed away on June 17, 2012. She was 54 years old.
Joanne was a longtime resident of East Boston before living in Saugus for the past few years. She worked as a stenographer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Joanne was the beloved daughter of the late Nicholas and Rose (Garofalo) Albano. She was the companion of Michael Ciano. Joanne was the loving sister of Michael Albano of Medford, Nicholas Albano Jr. of Melrose, John Albano of Stoneham, Charles Albano of Billerica and the late Anthony Albano. Joanne was the dear aunt of Michelle Cochran, Michael Albano Jr., James Albano and Thomas D'Alessandro.She is also survived by her cousins David Albano, Arlene Sarandopolis and Frank Rosano.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church 770 Salem St. Malden on Thursday June 21st at 10:00am. Visitation will be held at the A.J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main St. Malden on Thursday from 8:30am-9:30am prior to the Mass. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Interment will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Roslindale
