Obituary

Marcel Louis Duhaime, 87, of Hooksett, died April 30, 2010 at Catholic Medical Center after a period of declining health.

He was born in Manchester, August 15, 1922 to Rodolph and Cecile (Robitaille) Duhaime.

He served in the US Navy during World War II.

A retired hairdresser, he and his wife owned and operated the Beauty Bar in Manchester for many years.

He volunteered at the Elliot Hospital and Senior Center for many years.

He leaves his wife of 61 years, Claire Y. (Houle) Duhaime of Hooksett; a daughter, Jeanne Talbot and her husband, Gerard, of Concord; a grandson, T.J. Talbot and his wife, Karen, of Concord; two great grandchildren, Emily and Rachel Talbot; four sisters, Lucie Duhaime of Manchester, Claire Noury of Connecticut, Jeannine Robert of Manchester, and Elise Monroe of California; a brother, Dr. Robert DuHaime of Peterborough, NH; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Charles Duhaime and Paul Duhaime.



A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in St. Catherine Church, Manchester. Urn burial, with military honors, was at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen NH on Wednesday, May 5, 2010.
