Lawrence: Mr. Richard A. Baillargeon, 81, died on Friday. Born in Lawrence, Mr. Baillargeon had been an area resident all of his life. He had been employed at the Malden Mills for over 30 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, the Knights of Columbus, Council 4336 in Tewksbury. For 30 years he had been an avid oil painter and for may years was known as “ The flower man of Amesbury”. “There was no Papa like our Papa” Mr. Baillargeon was a veteran of WW 2 having served with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a military policeman at the Neuremburg trials. The widower of Doris R. (Rossi) Baillargeon and the father of the late Nancy Baillargeon, he is survived by:

There are also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren living in Maine and New Hampshire. There are several nieces and nephews. At the request of the family funeral services were private.
